How it all started
The story of the Delhi Chess Club began with a simple belief — that chess has the power to shape minds and build confidence. Our founder grew up exploring the game in the bustling heart of Delhi, discovering how each move teaches patience, insight, and creativity. Over the years, this passion transformed into a mission: to create a space where chess is more than a game — it becomes a lifelong skill, open to everyone.
As chess interest grew across the city, so did the need for a modern, inclusive learning environment. The Delhi Chess Club was created to break away from dull, old-style training and bring in fresh, engaging methods. Instead of one-size-fits-all lessons, we built a program that adapts to each learner. Whether a child just starting out or an adult rediscovering the board, our goal has always been the same: to make chess exciting, accessible, and empowering.
What started as a small local initiative has now become a thriving community of players, learners, and families. With a team of professional coaches and a blend of online and in-person programs, the Delhi Chess Club continues to grow across schools, homes, and neighbourhoods. Today, we proudly train enthusiasts of all ages — from curious 6-year-olds to seasoned players — all united by a love for the 64 squares. And this is only the beginning of our journey.
